Check out this new opportunity! We are seeking a Test Engineer to support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as a key contributor on the Ground Fire Control (GFC) Test Team, executing and integrating software tests within a classified, mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute test plans, procedures, and formal test events
- Support software integration and system-level testing
- Collaborate on requirements development and verification
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts (Python)
- Analyze large data logs and perform root cause analysis
- Support configuration and version control processes
- Contribute within an Agile development environment
- Operate full-time in a secure, closed-area work environment
Qualifications
- Federal Law requires U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in STEM
- Active Secret clearance (ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret); U.S. Citizenship required
- 2-5 years of relevant experience (early-career level)
Testing Experience:
- Software testing and integration
- Executing test plans and procedures
- Working in integrated test environments
Programming / Technical Skills:
- Experience with object-oriented languages (C++, Python, Ada, Java)
- Strong knowledge of Python automation scripting
Configuration Management / Dev Tools:
- Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
- Jira, Jenkins
- Version control & repository management
Development Practices:
- Agile methodologies
- Automated testing tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Experience with containerized or virtualized environments
- Familiarity with:
- Experience with Eggplant test automation
- Experience performing root cause analysis on large log files
