14414 – Sr Manual QA Engineer, Accessibility (onsite) – Miami, FL

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Onsite for the first month, then a hybrid schedule of 2 days remote / 3 days in-person.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Miami, FL for the first month (required);
• Experience creating, maintaining, and executing detailed manual test cases and test plans across functional, regression, and UAT cycles for MVC and .NET applications;
• Experience with WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 requirements and related testing methodologies;
• Experience with SQL for manual backend data validation (e.g., running queries to verify test results).
Preferred:
• Experience in public sector or highly regulated environments;
• Experience with manual API testing of RESTful services (e.g., using Postman or similar tools);
• Experience reviewing results of Load and Performance tests in Azure (e.g., interpreting reports and logging issues), even if not scripting the tests.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Execute manual functional, regression, and UAT testing across MVC and .NET Core applications to validate end‑to‑end functionality and business workflows.
• Create, maintain, and execute detailed manual test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform accessibility audits against WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 using tools such as Axe, WAVE, JAWS, and NVDA, documenting issues with clear reproduction steps.
• Use SQL to perform backend data validation, verify test results, and support defect investigation through targeted queries.
• Log defects with precise steps, expected vs. actual results, and collaborate with developers to validate fixes and retest impacted areas.
• Conduct manual API testing of RESTful services using tools like Postman to validate request/response behavior and error handling.
• Review load and performance test outputs in Azure, identify anomalies or failures, and escalate issues with supporting evidence.
