14384 – Senior QA Automation Engineer (onsite) – Miami, FL

Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions.
Work Setting: Onsite for the first month, then a hybrid schedule of 2 days remote / 3 days in-person.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Miami, FL for the first month (required);
• Experience in C# / .NET (MVC and .NET Core) (5+ years).
• Experience in building automated test suites from the ground up.
• Experience with Azure Boards, Repos, and YAML-based Pipelines.
• Experience with WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 requirements and testing methodologies.
• Experience with SQL for backend data validation.

Preferred:
• Experience in public sector or highly regulated environments.
• Experience with API testing (RESTful services).
• Experience with Load and Performance testing in Azure.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Perform initial manual functional, regression, and UAT testing on existing MVC and .NET Core applications.
• Evaluate and implement testing tools that align with a .NET ecosystem.
• Write and maintain YAML files to trigger automated tests within Azure DevOps build/release cycles.
• Conduct regular accessibility audits using tools like Axe, WAVE, or screen readers (JAWS/NVDA).
• Mentor developers on writing testable code and advocate for "Shift Left" testing principles.
• Convert existing manual test cases into a scalable automated regression suite, ensuring long‑term maintainability and coverage.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD workflows and ensure consistent testing standards across all .NET applications.
