Quality Engineering (QE) Analyst
ARC Group is partnering with a Fortune 500 client to hire multiple Quality Engineering (QE) Analysts for a fully remote opportunity based in the Philippines. The QE Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of softwaresolutions through comprehensive testing methodologies. This role develops and executes end-to-end test strategies to validate that applications meet functional, technical, and business requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience testing across the software development lifecycle in Agile and DevOps environments and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute quality assurance activities to ensure system standards and user requirements are met.
- Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive test plans.
- Design, document, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Create test suites with scenarios and test cases that are traceable to business and technical requirements.
- Validate application functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with legacy and external systems.
- Utilize JIRA, SQL, and other testing tools to support quality assurance initiatives.
- Analyze data and validate reports using SQL and other relevant tools.
- Develop a thorough understanding of business processes, application functionality, and operating environments.
- Perform mobile application testing across multiple platforms and operating systems.
- Leverage testing tools commonly used within DevOps environments.
- Identify, document, track, and communicate defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and project team members to triage and resolve issues.
- Monitor and report quality assurance metrics, testing progress, and overall project status.
- Participate in and occasionally lead team discussions, planning sessions, and quality reviews.
- Contribute to performance and non-functional testing activities.
- Support and mentor junior team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, business process analysis, and quality assurance best practices.
- Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments.
- Proficiency with JIRA, SQL, and other quality assurance and test management tools.
- Experience with mobile application testing across multiple platforms and operating systems.
- Familiarity with test automation and DevOps testing tools is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Prior experience supporting enterprise-level or large-scale software implementations.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior QA team members.

- This is a remote contract opportunity for candidates located in the Philippines.
- The initial contract term is three months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
