Growing together.If you live near Minnesota or Connecticut, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote role as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Own quality assurance, testing and test reporting for assigned applications and application componentsDevelop Test Scripts according to Acceptance Test-driven Development (ATDD), Behavior Driven Testing methods using Gherkin and Cucumber Test FrameworksPerforming daily regression, Sprint based regression using Jenkins scheduled jobsUse quality standard practices logging regression defects in Rally tool and triage defect root causes and regression testingUse Java Software Engineering Practices (Design Patterns, Salesforce Patterns and Practices) for developing codeImplement and maintain DevOps Capabilities, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices using test labs and toolsSource code, environment, deployment and release managementAnalyze, use and create mock data to simulate SOAP/REST web servicesDeliver software within an Agile (scrum) environmentAssist in sprint planning, estimation, requirement analysis and reviewMaintain Salesforce Service Cloud data and configurations to support test needsAssist in troubleshooting production issues, identifying and fixing root causesCollaborate with other teams across the portfolio to assure the success of the overall programShare and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing with the scrum teamParticipate in communities of practice to share knowledge, learn, and innovateStay abreast of leading-edge technologies in the industryAssist in conducting proof of concepts to evaluate the feasibility of implementing new tools, technology and requirementsAdapt and remain effective in a fast-paced, changing environmentDesign, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AIYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering or related field3 + years of hands-on experience in test automation using Python2+ years of experience developing automated test scripts using Selenium, Selenium WebDriver using java, Cucumber, with integration to Jenkins and Sauce labs2+ years of experience in Automation Acceptance Test Driven Development framework implementation2 + years of experience in testing applications in a cloud environment (Aws, Azure, GCP) preferably GCP2 years of experience in testing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) model (or) systems1+ years of experience in testing REST servicesPreferred Qualifications:Healthcare industry experienceAgile Central Rally experienceExposure to Issue Management applications like ALMExposure to cloud technologiesUnderstanding and hands on experience on large language models.Proficient in using Integrated Development Tools such as IntelliJ, Eclipse along with Source Control Systems such as gitThorough understanding of SDLC and specifically automated QA processes in Agile development environmentsGood understanding of multiple test automation frameworks and Dev OpsAbility to adapt to a dynamic work environment, learn quickly and solve problemsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust to meet the needs of the audienceDetail oriented with the ability to work with others during time constraints to meet deadlines*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
