Job Description: As a QA Tester, you will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test scenarios across API, UI, scheduled jobs, and database layers to ensure the stability, security, and reliability of enterprise applications. You will leverage advanced QA engineering skills, test automation expertise, and strong collaboration abilities to support Agile development teams and cybersecurity-related applications while ensuring adherence to continuous integration and delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute API, UI, scheduled job, and database test scenarios and test cases.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation scripts for web-enabled applications.
- Collaborate within Agile teams using tools and methodologies aligned with iterative delivery.
- Use JIRA or similar platforms to manage and execute test cases and track defects.
- Perform quality assurance activities to validate functionality, reliability, and business process integrity.
- Support testing of cybersecurity applications including identity and access management tools.
- Work with technology platforms such as Zscaler, SailPoint IdentityIQ, PingID, or HYPR.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Support analysis, development, testing, and maintenance efforts across the SDLC.
- Apply industry standard CI/CD principles and testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Ensure all testing practices align with organizational quality standards and project objectives.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: - Minimum 9 years of hands-on QA engineering and testing experience.
- Minimum 8 years developing automation scripts for web-based applications.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in Agile environments.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience using JIRA or similar test case management tools.
- Advanced experience designing and executing test scenarios and confirming reliability of business operations.
- Experience testing cybersecurity tools such as identity and access management solutions.
- Experience with cybersecurity technology platforms including Zscaler, SailPoint IdentityIQ, PingID, or HYPR.
- Strong communication skills supporting both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of software development processes including analysis, development, testing, and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, continuous testing practices, and modern testing frameworks.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $55.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
