POSITION SUMMARY:

The QA Manager is the strategic leader responsible for ensuring software quality excellence throughout the entire development lifecycle, from product definition to final delivery and post-production maintenance. They will lead the organizational transformation toward enterprise release management methodologies, implement story discipline and quality gates frameworks, and act as a key facilitator between cross-functional teams to optimize development processes and guarantee customer satisfaction for financial technology systems.



ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enterprise Release Management and Story Discipline

  • Implement enterprise methodologies for systematic story breakdown and approval workflows, eliminating the crisis of 62% of oversized stories.
  • Establish "Definition of Ready" excellence with requirements validation of under 20 hours per story and clear business acceptance criteria.
  • Lead epic management transformation, converting 80+ hour items into multiple deliverable stories using proven project management.
  • Develop risk-based story validation frameworks utilizing business continuity expertise.


Quality Assurance Leadership and Process Optimization

  • Design and implement comprehensive quality frameworks that cover manual, automated, performance, security, and regression testing.
  • Establish robust quality gates in CI/CD pipelines to prevent the deployment of defective code.
  • Lead the transformation of the manual testing burden toward automated health checks and testing frameworks.
  • Coordinate QA sign-off processes and business approval workflows for UAT validation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a strategic liaison between development teams, business stakeholders, and C-suite executives.
  • Facilitate business integration through dedicated UAT environments with business-friendly interfaces and production-like data.
  • Establish transparent deployment processes and real-time pipeline visibility for cross-departmental coordination.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success teams to correlate quality improvements with customer satisfaction metrics.

Cultural Transformation and Team Development

  • Mentor junior QA teams in enterprise best practices, testing automation, and quality discipline.
  • Establish competence-based trust-building through demonstrable process improvement success.
  • Coordinate international team integration (Latam team) and LATAM training program operational excellence
Requirements
  • Must be Bilingual in Spanish

Enterprise Leadership Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in financial services, mortgage technology, or similar regulated industries.
  •  Proven track record in multi-million dollar budget management and global team leadership.
  • Experience in enterprise transformation initiatives and digital modernization projects.
  • Strong background in Agile methodologies, release management, and business continuity planning.

Strategic Business Acumen

  • Ability to translate technical quality initiatives into business value and ROI.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance (financial services) and audit requirements.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to deliver complex initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Cross-functional stakeholder management experience with C-suite communication skills.

Technical Quality Expertise

  • Deep expertise in comprehensive testing frameworks: functional, integration, performance, security, and regression.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline design, automated testing integration, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Knowledge of financial technology systems, mortgage lending platforms, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with data governance, SQL, Snowflake, and analytics-driven quality management.

Compensation: range is $89,000 - $120,000/year, Full-time




The actual pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, and geographical location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
