QA Engineer Automated 3

Job Description

Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a QA Engineer Automated 3 to join our team. The position is hybrid with 2 days per week on site, and qualified candidates MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN THE AUSTIN, TX AREA.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the following areas:
  • Writing and executing test cases, as well as creating test plans
  • Software usability concepts and requirements traceability, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process
  • Xray Test Case management tool and Jira project management tool
  • Create, read, update, delete SQL queries
  • Writing and executing test automation using UFT
  • Conducting API testing and automation using Postman, SOAPUI, JMETER or similar

PREFERRED

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following areas:
  • Object-oriented programming
  • Utilizing accessibility tools and assistive technologies to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards
  • Working with State of Texas HHS agency and systems

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
• Determine priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement the scenarios
• Design documentation for automated processes
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Prepare UAT test cases aligned with business requirements
• Conduct walkthroughs with stakeholders to ensure clarity
• Track test case execution and provide reporting
• Utilize Jira to log and track defects
• Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices
• Support the development team as needed in dev, test, and UAT environments
• Troubleshoot defects as required
