QA Engineer

Experior Financial Group Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented QA Engineer to join our growing IT/Development team. This role is essential to ensuring product stability, reliability, and quality as we scale our systems and accelerate development. Responsibilities:
- Execute manual testing across web applications, backend services, and integrations.
- Write clear, detailed, and reproducible test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
- Perform regression testing, exploratory testing, and scenario-based testing as part of sprint cycles.
- Test APIs using tools such as Postman, validating both functionality and edge cases.
- Review and analyze logs, console output, and basic technical information to identify defects.
- Collaborate with distributed teams, developers, and product managers to ensure issues are understood and resolved.
- Work within Agile workflows, contributing to sprint activities, QA sign‑offs, and release readiness.
- Validate work completed via AI-assisted development and raise issues when inconsistencies arise.
- Maintain documentation in Jira and Confluence, ensuring clarity and traceability across testing activities.
- Stay proactive in identifying risks, edge cases, and areas requiring deeper validation.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in QA or software testing roles.
- Hands‑on experience writing test cases, test plans, and structured testing documentation.
- Experience performing regression testing in iterative development cycles.
- Proficiency testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
- Ability to create clear, detailed bug reports using industry-standard workflows.
- Understanding of how web applications and backend systems function at a foundational level.
- Ability to read logs, debug issues, and interpret basic technical output.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based workflows.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence.

Pay Range - $75,000 - $85,000/yr USD
The compensation range reflects a data-driven estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment. Individual pay may vary based on geographic location, job related skills, knowledge, experience, education etc.
