Position Overview

As the Lead QA Developer, you will be responsible for defining and driving the company’s QA vision, processes, and execution across all areas of testing—manual, automation, performance, and regression. You will lead a team of QA engineers, guide testing strategies for complex systems, and ensure a high-quality user experience across TakeProfitTrader’s products. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise and leadership capability, with ownership of testing at every stage of the development lifecycle.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers across manual and automation testing
  • Define and continuously improve the overall QA strategy, test standards, and best practices
  • Design, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on functional and technical requirements
  • Own and execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing for all releases
  • Build, maintain, and scale automated test suites for UI, API, and backend workflows
  • Plan and execute load, stress, and performance testing to validate system behavior under peak traffic
  • Ensure defects are logged with clear reproduction steps, impact analysis, and prioritization
  • Partner with developers to improve testability, automation coverage, and defect prevention
  • Provide quality sign-off and risk assessment for production releases
  • Establish QA metrics and reporting to track quality trends over time

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with experience leading QA teams
  • Strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing
  • Proven ability to define and scale regression testing strategies
  • Experience testing complex web applications, APIs, and backend services
  • Deep understanding of functional, regression, integration, and system testing
  • Hands-on experience with modern test automation and performance testing tools
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development and release cycles
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Compensation

  • Starting at $145K + bonus
