Lead QA Engineer

Lead QA Engineer – ₹25,00,000 - ₹30,00,000 INR | Remote-First (India-Based) | Full-Time

As part of our collaborative Engineering team, you'll contribute to the development and execution of robust QA strategies, work with cross-functional teams, and help optimize system performance through automation, regression testing, and functional testing across browsers and devices.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead API, Functional, System, and GUI testing for enterprise web applications.
• Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies with a focus on accessibility and cross-browser testing.
• Develop and maintain scalable regression test suites and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure user-centric quality across the release lifecycle.
• Maintain testing documentation using tools like TestLink, QATraq, TargetProcess, or XStudio.
• Provide actionable insights through defect metrics, test coverage reports, and continuous QA improvements.
• Troubleshoot, identify root causes, and ensure timely resolution of defects.

What We’re Looking For:

• 8+ years of experience in QA for high-volume web or enterprise applications in the travel industry.
• Experience with Booking Management tools.
• Hands-on experience with Web UI, Integration, and System Testing.
• Proficiency in SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
• Working knowledge of Java and related technologies (Spring, JSP, MVC).
• Strong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and frameworks like JUnit, TestNG.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and CI/CD tools (e.g., JIRA, Jenkins, Git, SVN).
• Solid scripting experience (Shell or similar) and debugging tools (e.g., Firebug, Charles Proxy).
• Prior experience with performance or load testing and accessibility testing is a big plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
