The Role

• As a Senior Data Quality Engineer, you will design and implement automated testing frameworks that ensure data reliability across ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• This is a hands-on engineering role focused on automation, not manual QA.
• You will work closely with Data Engineers to validate data as it moves through Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers and embed testing into CI/CD workflows.
• This role is critical to improving trust, consistency, and scalability across the firm's data platform.

Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data quality, or similar roles
• Strong Python and SQL skills (both required)
• Proven experience building automated data testing frameworks
• Hands-on experience with at least one data quality tool:
• Great Expectations / dbt tests / Databricks DQX
• Experience validating data pipelines and transformations
