Working remotely, the full-time Automated Software Test Engineer will design, develop, and operate cloud-based products for enterprise use, focusing on test automation and quality assurance using industry best practices.Key responsibilities:Design and develop System Test Automation Scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and API testing frameworksSupport test automation solution planning and perform detailed test designs while collaborating with BAs and developers for Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD)Build performance testing frameworks and measure system performance metrics, while working closely with development and DevOps teams to troubleshoot issuesRequired qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent; must be able to obtain Federal Government Public Trust10+ years of full-lifecycle application development experience, with at least 3 years using specified technologies and AWS cloud platformPost-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field can substitute for years of experienceMinimum of 4 years demonstrated experience with Selenium Grid/WebDriver, JavaScript APIs, and API testing frameworksExperience in Agile and Scrum development methodologies, with knowledge of management tools like JIRA
