Job Title: SDET with Cypress

Location:  McLean, VA(Onsite)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SDET to design and implement a comprehensive automation strategy for applications under test. The role involves collaborating closely with application teams to support continuous delivery initiatives and participating in code review sessions. You will guide testers and automation engineers in designing approaches, developing scripts, executing tests, and generating reports.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of proven experience in automation testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Selenium, Cypress (JavaScript), BDD/TDD, Cucumber, Gherkin, and CI/CD tools.
  • Extensive experience in API automation using REST Assured or Karate, with expertise in both frontend and backend automation.
  • Solid knowledge of databases such as DB2, MongoDB, or Snowflake, including experience in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all management levels.

Good to Have

  • Experience in file handling using Java.
  • AWS certification is preferred.
