We are looking for a Quality Engineer with 2+ years of experience to support quality engineering initiatives across eCommerce, Digital, Customer Experience, and Marketing technology platforms. You will be responsible for quality engineering efforts for high-visibility customer-facing applications, ensuring seamless, scalable, and reliable experiences across web, mobile, APIs, personalization engines, promotions, and omni-channel commerce solutions. This role requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Business teams within Agile environments to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

A day in the life as a Quality Engineer, MarTech...

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for software features based on defined acceptance criteria with limited oversight.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases and test scripts
  • Identify, document, and meticulously track software defects through their lifecycle
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects
  • Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide a quality perspective
  • Contribute to the execution of various testing types (e.g., functional, regression, integration, performance)
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews) and contribute to team discussions focused on continuous quality improvement
  • Assist in the development and execution of automated tests
  • Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress and defect status

What you'll bring to the table...

  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing (familiarity with different automation tools is a plus)
  • Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ADO, xRay)
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies
  • Basic programming/scripting skills (e.g., Java, JavaScript, dotNet ) for test automation
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright )
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
