Quality Assurance Engineer - RF-SMART for Shipping
US East Office (Jacksonville, FL)
We exist to transform our customers and change lives
Summary:
RF-SMART is seeking a QA Engineer to work in our Products group on the RF-SMART for NetSuite Team testing enterprise grade software in a fast-paced scrum development team at our US East Office in Jacksonville, FL.
The QA Engineer job description encompasses two main roles: testing and documentation. After Software Developers complete their development tasks, Quality Assurance Analysts test them. They use a variety of tools, testing applications and reports to compare the software to user requirements. They ensure that the software functions according to those requirements. After testing, Quality Assurance Analysts recommend changes and improvements for software. They work with developers to make the appropriate changes and then test everything all over again.
Quality Assurance Analysts document the entire quality testing process. They describe the program, evaluation, testing methods, and any improvements made to the software. Because Quality Assurance Analysts work so closely with the software, they often create training materials and instruct users how to use the software properly.
The QA Analyst will be responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan, executing the plan, and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met, and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability and stability.
The most important characteristic of our team is they all share a strong passion for learning. If you are looking for a place where you will always be challenged to grow and you get excited when a new functionality is released, this is the place for you.
To summarize, if you are good at:
- Developing and executing software test plans
- Identifying and facilitating issue resolution with functional and technical groups
- Documenting and communicating test results
- Testing alongside DevOps initiatives to shift-left in testing approach
- NetSuite and Supply Chain/Warehousing knowledge would be a big plus
