Job Description: We are looking for a skilled ERP Software QA Engineer to ensure the highest level of quality for our ERP software solutions. The successful candidate will be proficient in automating tests, handling transactional documents, and importing data for repetitive testing. This role requires close collaboration with our development team and product teams to ensure our software meets all technical standards and client expectations. 

Key Functions: 

  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools. 
  • Design, develop, and execute manual scripts where necessary. 
  • Create, manage, and import prerequisites to testing such as base transactional documents and inventory to ensure test cases are repeatable and cover all necessary scenarios. 
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs. 
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. 
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. 
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements. 
  • Monitor debugging process results. 
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the testing phase. 


Requirements

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • 2+ Years proven work experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong preference for experience in ERP systems. 
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. 
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools. 
  • Hands-on experience testing APIs with tools like Postman or Swagger. 
  • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases, including prerequisites such as base transactional documents and any necessary inventory. 
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus. 
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Business One and/or Acumatica is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as C#, Python, Java, or SQL, relevant to ERP software testing. 
  • Experience with Selenium, TestComplete, Cypress, or similar tools. 
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus. 
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors. 
  • Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, TestRail). 
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, or LoadRunner. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude. 
  • Strong organizational skills.
