SRNS Operational Technology (OT) is seeking to hire an experienced Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer. The selected candidate will enhance SQA procedures to ensure compliance with external standards and clarity for personnel, while providing guidance to support effective implementation. The role involves facilitating interactions with various stakeholders and acting as the Design Authority for SQA policy applications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procedural Content and Improvement:
• Improve Site and Operational Technology (OT) Software Quality Assurance (SQA) procedures to ensure they fully comply with external standards and requirements.
• Improve Site and Operational Technology (OT) Software Quality Assurance (SQA) procedures to ensure they are clearly understood.
2. Provide comprehensive SQA guidance and support to the Site:
• Help SRNS Personnel become more proficient at SQA Procedure implementation.
3. Interface and Collaboration:
• Interface with other site contractors, standards committees, DOE Complex groups, DOE/NNSA customers, QA Organization.
• Facilitate effective interactions with various internal and external customers and conduct issue reviews and corrective actions.
4. Other Specialized Roles:
• Act as the Design Authority and/or subject matter expert for applications/tools supporting SQA policies or procedures.Strong knowledge of SQA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive software requirements, test plans, and test cases.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with automation testing tools.• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field plus at least ten years of experience (YOE), OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least eight years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field plus at least five years of experience (YOE)
• Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required
